simply a moment. january

Translating a spanish quote, better late than never!! so I'm here, with my January Simply a Moment...

It was a wonderful soirée, I have to say that Vicente really knows me... I suppose that many other people will wait a dinner in a super restaurant or something like that, but we went to the cinema to the premiere of the last Miyazaki's film (I cried like a little girl, as usual) and then he suggested me to go to a bistro near home that has an incredible burgers that I love, so his plan was perfect for me!! but I refused the restaurant... I really enjoyed the afternoon, but half of my brain was always thinking on Luz... is she ok??... I suppose this will pass with time, but not for the moment... even if I really miss Vicente, to spend time the two of us, alone... now it's very difficult... we always are soooo busy, with the work, YoY Scrap, Luz... and well... when she is sleeping we are too tired to do nothing but... anyway, I know we will find the way!!

Simply A Moment is a prompt proposed by Alexa, which, in her own words, is a simple description of one minute of life, made mid-month and posted a few days later, and that can be varied in form, a LO, a diary page, art-journal, a collage or just a piece of writing and a photo.

Simply a Moment November 2013

Aquí estoy un mes más con Simply A Moment,  una propuesta de Alexa que consiste contar de una manera sencilla un minuto de tu vida, una vez al mes, que ocurra más o menos a mediados de mes. La presentación es completamente libre, un LO, una página de un diario, art journaling, un collage o simplemente algo de escritura y una foto. Este mes he he ido a lo más simple y solo he escrito un texto acompañando a una foto que hice el miércoles al volver a casa cuando me recibieron Luz y Vicente. Espero que disfrutéis con mi historia. Hasta pronto.

I'm again with Simply A Moment, by Alexa, which consists in a simple description of one minute of life, made mid-month, and that ca be varied in form, a LO, a diary page, art-journal, a collage or just a piece of writing and a photo. This month I have just written a text and add a picture that i took last Wednesday when I arrived home and I was received by Luz and Vicente. I hope you enjoy my story. See you soon.

Simply a Moment, September 2013

Esta entrada va con mucho retraso, ni siquiera se si podré unir mi link al de Alexa en Simply a Moment, pero lo tenía en mente desde que pasó y lo he hecho cuando he tenido tiempo... Mi momento de septiembre ocurrió el martes 17, cuando fuimos a la revisión mensual de Luz en el ortopeda del hospital Necker de niños. Ha sido nuestra última visita, todo está bien y no tendrá que llevar más su pañal y no tenemos que volver hasta que ya ande, es una campeona!!

I'm really late with this post, I don't even know if I'm on time with Alexa's project Simply a Moment, but I had it in my mind, so I have done it when I've had the time to do it... My moment has happened on 17th september, when we went to Luz revision in the Necker Hospital for children. It has been our last visit, everything is well and we don't have to return until Luz can walk by herself, I'm really proud of her!!

Aquí estoy de nuevo con Simply A Moment,  una propuesta de Alexa que consiste contar de una manera sencilla un minuto de tu vida, una vez al mes, que ocurra más o menos a mediados de mes. La presentación es completamente libre, un LO, una página de un diario, art journaling, un collage o simplemente algo de escritura y una foto. Este mes he hecho un LO digital con los pensamientos que pasaban por mi cabeza hace algo más de una hora. Simply a moment, april

Aquí estoy de nuevo con mi segunda participación en Simply A Moment,  una propuesta de Alexa que consiste contar de una manera sencilla un minuto de tu vida, una vez al mes, que ocurra más o menos a mediados de mes y que se postea unos días después. La presentación es completamente libre, un LO, una página de un diario, art journaling, un collage o simplemente algo de escritura y una foto (que por ahora va a ser mi opción). Como ya os he contado en otras ocasiones, este año estoy intentando involucrarme en proyectos que impliquen escribir. Por este motivo empecé con Laura el Two Views, que os empezaré a mostrar en breve, o hago las 52 listas de Moorea Seal, y por este motivo también voy a empezar a partir de ahora cada mes a seguir la propuesta de Alexa.

Solo una pequeña introducción a este texto: yo vivo en París, toda mi familia vive en Madrid, así que nuestra comunicación se reduce al telefono y a skype. Aquí va mi momento del mes de abril. Espero que disfrutéis con la lectura.

Conocí el blog de Alexa el año pasado en WITL de Ali Edwards y solo puedo decir que me encantó, las fotos que hace, las historias que cuenta, y sobre todo su forma de escribir, me encanta, me da mucha envidia (de la sana, pero envidia al fin y al cabo). 

Como ya os he contado en otras ocasiones, este año estoy intentando involucrarme en proyectos que impliquen escribir, porque quiero mejorar mi escritura; cuando digo mejorar mi escritura quiero decir que quiero ser capaz de expresar mejor mis sentimientos por escrito, no que busque una mejora de mi estilo literario. Por este motivo empecé con Laura el Two Views, o hago las 52 listas de Moorea Seal, y por este motivo también voy a empezar a partir de ahora cada mes a seguir la propuesta de Alexa, Simply A Moment, que, en sus propias palabras, consiste en una sencilla descripción de un minuto de tu vida, una vez al mes, hecho a mediados de mes y que se postea unos días después. La presentación es completamente libre, un LO, una página de un diario, art journaling, un collage o simplemente algo de escritura y una foto (que creo va a ser mi opción).

I met Alexa's blog last year in the gallery of WITL by Ali Edwards and I can only say that I loved it, I love her photos, her stories, and over all, her writing, really, really love it (and feel a bit of envie, also).

As I have already told you, this year I'm trying to participate in writing projects, in order to improve my writing skills; what I mean is that I want learn how to transmit my sentiments or feelings, not to improve my style. And this is why I began with my sister Laura Two Views, or 52 lists by Moorea Seal, and this is also why I have decided to do each moth from now the prompt of Alexa, Simply A Moment, which, in her own words, is a simple description of one minute of life, made mid-month and posted a few days later, and that ca be varied in form, a LO, a diary page, art-journal, a collage or just a piece of writing and a photo (that I think will be my choice).
